Our Basketball league is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade. It is a 6 game season and teams practice once a week on Monday or Tuesday with games happening on Thur-Sat. Kids have the opportunity to enjoy working together as a team as they learn the fundamentals of basketball. Like all of our leagues, there is a skills progression for every division. For example, in the K-1 division every player wears a colored wristband and must guard the opposing player with the matching wristband. In the 6-8 division the players are allowed to play man-on-man and zone a defenses — wristbands are not worn. For the full set of progressions in each divisions see the rule book.

In order to build teams with evenly distributed skill levels, every child is required to attend a player evaluation. Player evaluations are a series of drills designed to measure a player’s ability. Players are scored and those scores are used for team assignment. Evaluations are not tryouts, and every player that attends evaluations will be assigned a team.

2025 PRE-SEASON INFORMATION

  • Registration opens Nov 1st, 2025 and ends December 14, 2025.

  • Season Runs Jan 19th - March 14th

  • MANDATORY Evaluations for K-3rd graders are from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Monday, January 5, and Tuesday, January 6. Choose a time that works best for your family!

  • MANDATORY Evaluation Scrimmage for 4th-5th graders will be on Thursday, January 8.

    • GIRLS @ 5:30pm BOYS @ 6:30pm

  • MANDATORY Evaluation Scrimmage for 6th-8th graders will be on Friday, January 9.

    • GIRLS @ 5:30pm BOYS @ 6:30pm

  • Practice begins the week of January 19th, 2026.

  • End of The Season MARCH MADNESS GAME will be held OUTSIDE on March 14th! More details to come.

FAQS

+ What happens if my child is on the Waitlist?

Once a league reaches capacity, any new registrants will be placed on a Waitlist.

Being on the Waitlist does not guarantee a spot on a team.

If an opening becomes available (for example, if a player drops from an existing roster), we’ll contact the next person on the Waitlist to confirm placement.

No payment is required while on the Waitlist. However, payment is due immediately once your registration is approved and you’re officially added to a team.

+ Can my child be on the same team as his friends?

We cannot put a group of friends all on the same team. We do assessments so that each team can have a variety of skill levels. We believe it is important for children to meet new friends and for parents to meet new friends too!

+ What if we can't practice on certain nights?

Due to the structure of our new practice and game schedule, we are not able to take practice night requests this year.

+ Will my children be on the same team?

If siblings are registered for the same league, we will place them on the same team unless you specifically request them to be on seperate teams.

+ What if I ordered the wrong size uniform?

Uniform sizes need to be carefully chosen. Reorders will cost $13 for shirts and $10 for shorts.
